Collaborative efforts often bring together people who may differ greatly—or who simply dislike each other. Yet Principled Innovation emphasizes the Civic assets of inclusivity and perspective taking, which support the transformation that can occur when collaborating across differences (Practice C2). In this short Edutopia video, two very different teachers discuss the way that collaboration helped them learn to appreciate each other professionally and to work together to create more effective teaching and learning solutions (Practice P1).
